Dog Registration

The registration of dogs within the city limits is required annually by city ordinance. All reg-
istrations expire on the last day of May in each year. A current certificate of vaccination for
rabies must be provided upon registration. Dogs can be registered in the Water Utility Of-
fice Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For the registration of a neutered male
dog or spayed female dog, the fee is three dollars ($3); for those dogs that are not neutered or
spayed the fee is five dollars ($5). Verification from your Veterinarian that the dog has been
spayed or neutered is also required prior to obtaining a tag.
