Named for Judge Harry Fisher, a beloved Fort Scott citizen, the 17 acre Fisher Park provides two lighted ball fields for youth baseball and adult softball which supplement the three ball fields at Fort Scott Community College. The swimming pool, which provides a charming wading pool, is the home of the Fort Scott swim teams. Tennis courts and sand volleyball courts are open to the public as well as picnic tables and playground equipment. The park hosts summer concerts and many adult and children's summer recreational events.
