The Fort Scott Industrial Park has provided an ideal setting for our 130,000 square foot facility.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

General Information:

The Fort Scott Industrial Park and the Fort Scott Industrial Park Addition #1 is a developed industrial park with all utilities. This attractive park is designed to provide the client with acreage tailored to meet their needs. Over one hundred and thirty (130) acres of flood free land, with protected covenants, is competitively priced and is available for immediate possession.

Transportation:

Approximately 10 trucking companies, two with terminals, serves the Fort Scott/ Bourbon County Area. Package delivery services includes both ground and air firms, namely UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, UPS Next Day and the United States Postal Service.

Just 4 miles from the 200 acres developed Industrial Park is the Fort Scott Municipal Airport with a lighted 4,400 foot asphalt runway with an AWOS system. Fuel sales, a modern terminal and a courtesy car are available.

The Burlington Northern and Sante Fe Railroad serves Fort Scott/Bourbon County. Reciprocal Switching is available and piggyback service is only 30 miles away.

Utilities:

All utilities have been extended into the Park and there are no special assessments pending at this time.

Water is supplied by the City of Fort Scott. A 12 inch main is located at the entrance to the park and a 12 and 8 inch line is extended into the park.

Sewer service is provided by the City of Fort Scott. A 12 inch main is extended into the park.

Solid waste disposal is provided through contracts with private carriers.

Natural gas is supplied by Kansas Gas. A 4 inch high pressure line is located in the park.

Electricity is supplied by Westar Energy. 12 KV, 3-Phase service is available in the park.

Telephone service is supplied by AT&T. Fiber Optics are in place for Fort Scott.
